Grocery Shopping

So I haven't done grocery shopping in almost 3 weeks!!!

I went to Publix first My Total was 52.98 Vendor coupons 8.10 Advertised Savings 18.79 Total Savings 26.89 Paid Out of Pocket 26.09 So % of savings is 49%. Not to bad. Next I went to Winn Dixie. My total was 124.84 After Reward Card my total was 84.43 After Vendor coupons my total was 77.98 Total I saved was 46.59. My % of savings was 37% I didn't do as well at winn dixie. Still for 2 weeks of food I spent 104.07

He is HOME!!

My Husband Came home last night from the hospital. I forget how much I miss him when he is gone. He is doing fine now just a little sore. Now we have to work on getting our budget adjusted so we can Pay his deductible. BLAH!!! He NEVER goes to the Dr. so thats why we put him on the deductible plan. We do have our 1000.00 baby Emergency fund but we don't wan to use it because the hospital will make payment arrangements with us we much rather work that into the budget. The Deductible is only 1500.00 so it should not take us to long to pay that off. Just when I get everything back on track we get knocked off. But we didn't go into any father debt!

Murphy Hit Us

Well, Murphy HIT us HARD this weekend. My husband had a 4 wheeler accident Was in the ICU for 24hrs! He has a broken rib and collapsed lung and a bruised liver. They moved him out of ICU last night but still has his chest tube in. Just when we got everything back on track we get knocked down. He is our only source of income luckily he has good health ins., but the bad part is there is no sick time at his work. So he is not getting paid right now! I have to look into his short term disability and see what would qualify. See if we can get some income from this week or 2 that he is going to be out of work. some times I wish he had a desk job!! But he is a industrial mechanic so the Dr said that he for sure is out for this week and prob next week.
